  • Business English
    • Business English classes may be arranged to meet the needs of all managers and employees.
    • CB01 Cambridge Business Benchmark Preliminary Details
      • A beginning business English course which will include vocabulary, speaking, reading and writing practice, grammar instruction, and listening homework. Topics include company policies, production and selling, business travel, business relationships, finance, and human resources.
    • CB02 Cambridge Business Benchmark Vantage Details
      • An intermediate business English course which will include vocabulary, speaking, reading and writing practice, grammar instruction, and listening homework. Topics include human resources, marketing, starting new business activities, business travel, new technologies, and customer relations.
    • CB03 Cambridge Business Benchmark Higher Details
      • An advanced business English course which will include vocabulary, speaking, reading and writing practice, grammar instruction, and listening homework. Topics include management, competitive advantage, advertising and sales, finance, the work environment, and corporate relationships.
    • CU00 Custom Courses Details
      • Companies, organizations, and individuals may arrange custom courses with AECC. The teacher will work with you to plan a course that meets your specialized needs. Sometimes customized courses will require higher tuition. In all classes, more students in a class will lower the tuition for each student.
    • RG01 Reading Graphs Seminar Details
      • This is an intermediate English seminar that emphasizes understanding graphs correctly and explaining the information in the graphs. It includes oral practice explaining the information in a graph.
    • WR 03 Writing Reports and Presentations Seminar Details
      • A writing course that applies the writing process to writing reports and written presentations. Emphasis is placed on preparing a consistent outline, proof-reading and revising, editing to meet the boss’s requirements to produce a polished report. A second seminar could be arranged to emphasis speech, clear enunciation, and practice presenting oral reports.
    • WR04 Writing Business Emails Seminar Details
      • A writing seminar including using polite, professional, and appropriate language for business emails, noticing important details in the email that is being responded to, and replying clearly to the requests in an email. This course emphasizes the writing process, correct grammar, word usage, and spelling.
  • Casual English
    • All adult spoken English classes will include listening homework.
    • CU01 Custom Courses Details
      • Individuals or small classes may agree with the teacher on a book not listed below for the oral English class. All classes will include listening homework and some grammar review.
    • FA01 Family Album USA Book 1 Details
      • A beginning oral English class which includes vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing practice, grammar instruction, and listening homework. The class introduces American culture and everyday life vocabulary. The teacher will correction pronunciation, enunciation, and grammar.
    • FA02 Family Album USA Book 2 Details
      • An intermediate oral English class which includes vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing practice, and listening homework. The class introduces American culture and everyday life vocabulary. The teacher will correction pronunciation, enunciation, and grammar.
    • SD01 Special Days Special Ways Book 1 Details
      • This course is based on the book by Harvey M. Taylor, Ph. D. The topics include Western Holidays, Customs, and Culture. This course emphasizes listening, reading, writing and speaking.
    • SD02 Special Days Special Ways Book 2 Details
      • This course is based on the book by Harvey M. Taylor, Ph. D. It is a continuation of the lessons about Western Holidays, Customs, and Culture. This course emphasizes listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Academic English
    • Adults 18 years old and above may register for classes.
    • CU02 Custom Courses Details
      • An individual, 18 years old and above, may arrange with the teacher to have training to prepare for a test or to prepare to go abroad.
    • GR01 American Grammar Made Easy Details
      • The teacher summarizes American English Grammar emphasizing the practical use of grammar to write clearly.
    • IE01 Cambridge IELTS Objective Intermediate Course Details
      • The textbook stresses the test skills of reading, speaking, writing, and listening. Listening homework, grammar, and clear speech will be emphasized in this course.
    • IE02 Cambridge IELTS Objective Advanced Course Details
      • The textbook covers reading, speaking, writing, and listening test skills. Listening homework, grammar, and clear speech will be emphasized in this course.
    • NC 02 New Concept English Book 2 (Practice and Progress) Details
      • This is a pre-intermediate English course. It includes listening, vocabulary, oral reading, grammar, writing and speaking. There will be practice to improve pronunciation, simple grammar explanations. Homework emphasizes listening to native speakers using a particular listening method.
    • NC01 New Concept English Book 1 (First Things First) Details
      • This is a beginning English course. It includes listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar, writing, and speaking. There will be practice to improve pronunciation as well as simple grammar explanations.
    • NC03 New Concept English Book 3 (Developing Skills) Details
      • This is an intermediate English course. It includes reading longer passages (250-530 words), reading comprehension, summary writing, writing composition and vocabulary. Listening skills will also be emphasized.
    • NC04 New Concept English Book 4 (Fluency in English) Details
      • This is an advanced English course. It includes reading (250-700 word passages), reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, summary writing and essay composition. The teacher will also assign listening homework to increase vocabulary and fluent speech.
    • WR 01 Writing Paragraphs Details
      • A beginning English class which includes grammar review and practice writing 4 kinds of paragraphs.
    • WR 02 Writing Essays Details
      • An intermediate English class which emphasizes the writing process to write descriptive, how-to, informative, and persuasive essays. Correct grammar and word usage will be emphasized.
    • WR 03 Writing Reports and Presentations Seminar Details
      • A writing seminar that applies the writing process to writing reports and written presentations.
